Sparkle in the Day, day time sequins.

Sequins, shimmer, and sparkle! We love to wear all the glitz when reigning in the new year. But  what are you going to do with all the sequins now that the "season " has passed. Well don't pack them away, you can still wear all the glittery goodness for the daytime. That's right, wear your sequin pieces not just at night. This isn't a new concept, designers have been showcasing  sequins and shine for day time in the past 2 seasons. And personally after living in sweats the past couple years I’m ready to get all glam-ed up! Even if I'm just going to the grocery store. 

Here are some fun and easy ways you can incorporate sequins into your everyday look with ease. 

•  Make it casual. Add casual elements  if you're wearing a sequin/glitter bottom like a skirt or pants. You can pair your bottoms with a more casual top and jacket. 

• Try pairing it with a simple t-shirt, denim jacket and a classic white sneaker. Layer a cardigan or cozy duster for a more relaxed vibe.

• You can also pair a sequin skirt or pants  with a graphic tee (like a band tee). Layer on some necklaces and a leather motorcycle jacket for a mix between edgy and glam.

• Try casual fabrics for a juxtaposition and interest. Material like chambray or camo print  are unexpected to be paired with sequins. Or try a pair of cargo's. Cargo style pants have been on trend and not going away anytime soon so a sequin top with cargo pants is a perfect glam meets tomboy look. 

• Go  for a bold color. Look for a colorful vibrant hue. Think jewel tones and brights anything outside of the usual gold and silver. Try a bold print like a stripe. Pair that with a matching sweater or sweatshirt. 

• Tone on tone all the same color head to toe.  The sequins add texture, shine, and interest to your outfit. Add on tone accessories for an overall monochromatic look. 

• Pair it with neutrals or basics like a black turtleneck and pants.Simple but the end results look polished and streamlined. Very chic!

• Wear your sequin tops  or cardigans over jeans. Even a good pair of  distressed jeans will help you achieve a cool girl look. I love how you can even tuck in your sequin dress into a pair of jeans for a dramatic look  that gives off an effortlessly cool girl vibe.

• Take that sequin dress to the office. Pair it with your office basics. By layering a blazer even an over sized blazer on top. You can wear your sequin pants or skirt  with a crisp white button down.  

• And lastly, go for it and be  bold just wear it unapologetically. Add fun pops with the accessories because why not!
